Mark
Mark has a wealth of experience in large scale turnarounds, bringing stability to retail businesses and delivering change and growth in the consumer sector. He is currently Chairman of Radley Group and a non-executive director of Ann Summers’ parent GGI and of No. 9 Investments (the McCarthy family investment office). He was previously CFO of Game Digital from 2015 to 2018 and CFO of House of Fraser for eight years.

Mike

Key strengths: Mike, a seasoned finance professional, has been with Debenhams since February 2010 and has played a major part in the financial restructuring of Debenhams before stepping up to become CFO in September 2019. He previously held finance roles at Sky and Pfizer, among others. Mike is a chartered accountant.

Steven Cook

Steven Cook joined Debenhams in January 2018 as Managing Director for Fashion and Home responsible for our business unit that oversees the organisation’s buying, design and merchandising divisions. In September 2019 his remit was extended to cover the Beauty Trading Division. 

Steven sits on the business’ executive committee. Previously he was at Holt Renfrew, most recently as Chief Merchant. Prior to that Steven worked at Sears Canada. His retail, fashion and manufacturer experience spans a number of leading brands including Calvin Klein, Badgley Mischka as well as Polo Ralph Lauren, J. Crew and Nike

Chief Marketing Officer
Abigail

Abigail Comber joined Debenhams in January 2020 as Chief Marketing Officer and brings a wealth of experience and understanding of customer engagement and developing digital service initiatives. Abigail sits on the business’ executive committee.

Previously she was at British Airways where her portfolio included Brand Strategy, Marketing, Customer Experience Design, Partnerships, Sponsorship, and Community Relations. Abigail is a Fellow of the Marketing Society.

Digital, Tech & International Director
Jess
Jess Shepherd joined Debenhams in September 2015 as the Brand Development Director. In April 2018 she was appointed to the Strategy Director and in November 2018 her remit was extended to cover the International Division. In September 2019 she was appointed to the business’ Executive Committee with additional responsibility for Debenhams’ Digital and Online business. Jess brings a wealth of retail experience to Debenhams which has been gained over the last 17 years in a number of operational and strategic roles.
HR Director
Simon Page
Simon Page joined Debenhams in July 2017 as Director of Corporate HR. In September 2019 he was appointed to the business’ Executive Committee as HR Director. Simon brings substantial people transformation and change experience to Debenhams having previously spent 5 years at Dixons Retail during which two PLCs merged to create Dixons Carphone.
